Three ways to add a book to your library
There are three ways to get a book onto your shelf, and one of them works everywhere.

Overview
Every book on your shelf got there one of three ways: you added a Lexxio Original, you imported your own EPUB, or you downloaded a public-domain title. Each has its own dedicated guide. This one just covers where to find them and what to expect from each.
The three ways
Add a Lexxio Original. Browse the built-in catalog and add a book with one tap. It's free, no plan required, and works on both desktop and mobile. See What are Lexxio Originals?
Import your own EPUB. Bring a file you already own. This requires the desktop app and an active Lexxio plan. See Importing your own EPUB
Download a public-domain book. Search or browse free, out-of-copyright books from within the app. Also desktop only, also requires an active plan. See Public-domain books
On mobile
Import and the public-domain browser are both desktop features, so they don't appear on the mobile app. If your library is empty on mobile, you'll see two options instead: "Sync from desktop," which pulls books you've already added on your computer, and "Browse the collection," which opens the Originals catalog.
