How Lexxio tracks your reading

Overview

Lexxio keeps track of your reading in three small ways: chapter read status, a bookmark per book, and a summary screen when you finish. There's no percent-complete bar or reading streak dashboard. If you're looking for that kind of detailed analytics, this isn't it, Lexxio keeps things light on purpose.

Marking chapters read

Every chapter has a read/unread toggle in the chapter view. Tap it when you finish a chapter, or if you want to jump ahead and mark something read without going through it line by line.

Some books are gamified. In these, the next chapter stays locked until you pass a short quiz on the one you just read. Finishing that quiz marks the chapter read automatically, so there's no need to toggle it yourself. You'll know a book works this way because the chapter list shows a lock icon on chapters you haven't reached yet.

Bookmarks

Each book keeps one bookmark per reading level. Since a book can exist at multiple levels (Simple, Guided, Natural, and so on), your bookmark at Guided is separate from your bookmark at Advanced. Switch levels and Lexxio remembers where you left off at each one.

Opening a book you've already started takes you straight to your bookmark, no need to scroll through chapters to find your spot.

Finishing a book

When you complete the last chapter, an end-of-book screen appears with a few stats, things like total words you've read in that language so far. Some books also award an achievement badge when you finish.

These stats are a small recap, not a running dashboard. There's no page that adds up your total reading time or shows a streak calendar. If that's the kind of tracking you want, it's worth knowing up front that Lexxio doesn't offer it yet.
