What credits are for
Credits are spent on the AI work you ask for while reading: translating a passage, looking up a word, explaining a sentence, generating a review quiz or a conjugation table. Reading itself never costs credits.

- Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and don't roll over.
- Translation and the AI reading tools run on the desktop app. On mobile you read books you've already translated and practice verbs, neither of which spends credits.
