Overview

Verbs is Lexxio's built-in conjugation practice, reached from "Verbs" in the nav. It has four tabs: Learn, Review, Drills, and Verbs. This is a feature inside the main app, separate from Lexxio Verbs, the standalone verb-practice app. If you're trying to figure out which one you need, see Lexxio Verbs vs. the Pro plan.

A full curriculum is available for five languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian.

Learn

Learn is a set of guided lessons organized by tense: present, preterite, imperfect, future, conditional, subjunctive, imperative, and more. Each lesson ends in a short drill so you're not just reading through forms, you're using them right away.

Verbs tab

The Verbs tab is a searchable, sortable list of verbs. Sort by frequency or alphabetically, and filter down to your favorites or to irregular verbs. Tap a verb to open its full conjugation table, with audio for every form. From there you can add it to your study list, queue it for drill practice, or jump straight into a focused drill on just that one verb.

Review and Drills

Review and Drills are spaced-repetition drill sessions. You can configure a session by level, tense, and which verbs it draws from. Each question is fill-in-the-blank: you type the conjugated form.

Accents get a lighter touch than a wrong answer. If you type the right form but miss an accent mark, Lexxio treats that differently from a genuinely wrong conjugation, since that's a much smaller slip than the wrong tense or the wrong ending.

From your reading

A "From your reading" panel surfaces verbs that actually show up in whatever book you're currently reading, sized by how often each one appears. It's a way to practice what you're actually running into on the page instead of drilling verbs at random. See Verbs from your reading for more on how it works.

What's included on the free tier

The free tier includes one language, with the first two units open, and a capped verb lookup limit. A Lexxio plan or the separate Lexxio Verbs purchase gives you the rest. For the difference between those two paths, see Lexxio Verbs vs. the Pro plan.

If you're saving individual words as you read, note that conjugated verbs get their own "Practice this" option in the lookup popup, separate from the regular study list. See Saving words while you read.
